American point guard EJ Day (180-PG-1999, college: Lasell) was the top scorer of the day in the world with the 38 points he had in the West Asia Super League. Day graduated from Lasell College three years ago. His excellent performance made his team Astana edge the Sagesse 104 to 102. He also added 9 assists that evening. Among many awards he was selected as the All GNAC Player of the Year as well as the All Region 1 First Team back in 2023. Day was selected to the NABC Division 3 All District 1 Second Team back in 2022. He was also selected to the All GNAC Third Team back in 2020.
